Theratopia Osteomyology Clinic
Here at Theratopia we practice Osteomyology; this is a practice that combines osteopathy, chiropractic techniques, massage and acupuncture. Osteomyology is a detailed study of the bone and muscle anatomy, physiology and biomechanics with a fusion of long and short leaver manipulation therapy techniques. Our sessions aim to treat the root of an issue through combining these techniques to heal.

Massage
Massage is a type of integrative medicine, in which therapists complete various techniques (kneading, stripping, effleurage) to work into muscles, ligaments and tendons.

These techniques are utilised to effectively release tension within the body, improve circulation and remove toxins.

By doing so, Massage allows for improved patient well-being and overall performance.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice, to heal the body.

This method uses the insertion of needles into the body to target specific areas of concern. In doing this, it stimulates these specific areas, promoting natural healing.

Acupuncture can target physical areas of weakness but also can be utilised to help remedy illness. Ultimately, it is a method that improves bodily function and a client's overall health.

Adjustments
Manipulation is the exertion of controlled force and movement to a specific joint.

The goal of manipulation is to improve spinal motion and help realign the body to avoid pain and discomfort.

The use of manipulation as a technique within a session improves musco-skeletal health and well-being, by enhancing physcial function.
